Project 2 Brief
My group has the challenge of creating a music video for Rohini Maiti, who is an amazing singer, and make it so she can get her name out there in the world. She had a song she wrote but didn't really have a concept to give us so our group had creative freedom for this video.
Through lots of talking and lots of breaks we finally found an idea that would be cool to accomplish.
We had the idea of hands being the focus throughout the video and having the "guy" be moving out of the house so there would be breaks where there is something then cut to it not being there anymore and being empty.
Hands were to come in and be touching Ro continuously and gradually there would be no hands at the end and having her in an empty room.
That was the overall idea and we were excited and relieved to have finally have an idea for the song.
The only problem was we didn't have enough time to accomplish all that we wanted to, also the location we wanted to have was a high end apartment or home and just shoot all the scenes there but we did not know anybody that has a nice home so we were left with the option of using Bea's dorm.
There was the idea to use actors instead of Ro but timing was a real issue throughout the project so, so many ideas were shot down because of that but we ended up working it out.
We had our concept and our assignment was to create any storyboards that would help sell the concept, many were very busy so I created a rough story board that I thought went along with the concept. Below is a very rough story board that was inspired by the discussions the group had about the concept.

So here is what we would hopefully shoot for the video. The hard part is getting Ro to emote the emotions that I drew but it's fine with whatever expressions she has since she's new to all of this.
